PATIO SMOKING SECOND-HAND SMOKE LIKE SMOKY BARS SAY EXPERTS

BEING exposed to second-hand tobacco smoke on outdoor patios is comparable to pollution levels measured in smoke-filled pubs according to a University of California, Stanford study. The research said that passive smoking sitting within 18 inches of a person who smokes two cigarettes over an hour outside is the same as sitting in a smoky pub for an hour. Pollution levels decrease significantly at a six feet distance from a smoker.
