Australia’s development of biofuel and bioenergy production and consumption has been hampered by the Covid-19 pandemic and some diversion of effort into researching and manufacturing renewable hydrogen in the past few years. However, this is about to change with the Australian government working on a Bioenergy Roadmap, which, as Petroleum Review went to press, was about to be released. This will identify key biofuel sectors for targeted government support.
