CROATIA CRAWLS OUT OF RECESSION BUT NATURAL COSMETICS PRODUCTION IS STRONG

The cosmetics industry and market in Croatia is starting to benefit from the country’s nascent economic recovery, although it is still facing a number of challenges. The economy in Croatia, which joined the European Union (EU) in 2013, was forecast by the World Bank to grow by 1% in 2015, following six years of recession. Slightly stronger growth of 1.3% is expected in 2016, and 1.6% in 2017.
