CROATIA FACES ECJ CASE OVER EUROCONTROL CONVENTION FAILURES

THE EUROPEAN Commission is taking Croatia to the European Court of Justice (ECJ) for failing to ratify the European Union’s (EU) membership of ATC organisation Eurocontrol. The EU Council of Ministers decided the EU should become a member (alongside national governments) in 2004, because of the importance of Eurocontrol to EU aviation policies, notably the European Single Sky.
