BY MONICA DOBIEONE OF two remaining tobacco auction exchanges in Ontario will close due to cuts in crop sizes for this year.To date, the Ontario Flue-Cured Tobacco Growers' Marketing Board has not yet decided which auction exchange to close. They are located in the south-western Ontario districts of Tillsonburg or Delhi, both are operated by the board.The reason, say local press reports, is that the 2001 crop size is the second lowest amount of tobacco grown in the 44-year history of the tobacco board.This year's tobacco crop target is 53 million kilogrammes ...
